Catching Up!!!

Sorry...the past couple weeks I have slacked off and not done any of my goals (besides reading my scriptures :))
I've had a ton on my plate, plus I've been recovering from what I thought was a cold but later found out was a sinus infection...blah. Also I've been a little lazy and not wanted to post anything, but I figured I ought too.
Well First thing on catching up is Winter Waltz. I don't have any pictures yet. (Sorry Cam) But they will soon be coming, hopefully. It was a blast. All the boys in the group I was in were hilarious and just plain strange, oh what isn't that what boys are in high school, hehe. But they were really sweet to all the girls and all us girls really think we had the best group. In fact I believe that is the best dance I've been to yet. :) When I get pictures I will tell all.
Second of all this happened on the 10th but I don't think I ever blogged about it. AF beat LP at basketball. BOOYAH!!!!! That hasn't happened in forever. And I got to see it happened, and I almost didn't go to the game, but thank you Kayla and Desie for going, and letting me go with you guys. It was so much fun we had to stay after school until the Varsity game at 7. Longest I've been at that school. But it was a blast we sat in the Cafeteria for a few hours, but Kayla and I were entertained while throwing peanuts at Dallin. He throw them back but it was fun. We watched the JV game we lost that one, but came back strong and won the varsity game. 58 to 50!!!!!! By 8 points and LP has two boys that are little brothers of two BYU Basketball players. Can you believe, that man you should have seen AF, we were yelling and screaming, we were jumping up and down, we were all so happy. I almost lost my voice from yelling so much. :) So proud to be a "CAVEMAN"
Last of all is the most recent, we have our Sadies dance on St. Patrick's day, so I finally decided that I'd ask someone before all the boys that I'd ask were already asked. So on Monday Kayla came and got me and we both asked someone. Kayla asked Dallin Day and I asked Ty Young. Kayla decided she'd sticky note Dallin's car. That went well no one caught us and we got away just fine. Then went to Ty's house. (Just to let you know how I asked him, I cut out circles and put a letter of my name on a few of them, then I got some chocolate kisses and I left him a sign saying "Now that I've "SPOTTED" you and "KISSED" the ground you walk on will you go to Sadies with me?") So Kayla and I started putting up the spots when Ty's brother, Clayton, and their dad open the door and scared the heck out of Kayla and me. They were laughing so hard, Kayla and I both squealed and Kayla just simply asked if they could shut the door so we could finish. "Oh Ty downstairs, it's okay." Well they finally shut the door and we just hurry and do the rest and I walk to the other side of the porch to put some dotes up when I look down and I see Ty looking up from on of their basement windows strait at us. "Kayla," I said "he just saw me, let's just get this done." So we took about 30 seconds longer and did the rest, I rang the door bell, ran off his porch, and then Kayla and I just walked back to her car. haha, it was a ton of fun, and I got a pretty dang good story out of it too. Oh, I'm so excited, I think that I just might have a little bit better group than Winter Waltz just maybe, not quite sure yet.      

Valentines Day and other things

February....The month that can be someones favorite but also someone else least favorite. Why you may ask do I think this. Well, there is one holiday that can have this effect on someone. Valentines Day. Yep that holiday, some may think that it's the best holiday and other not so much. I really don't care that much for this day, I'm in High School, why should I really even worry about this day, maybe when I'm in college and married I'll like this day, or even care more about it then do now. But I decided that I would still pay tribute to this holiday and I would write some of my favorite Quotes about LOVE.

Sorry there are so many, but as you an probably can tell I love quotes and there are too many out there to choose my absolute favorite one. 

Well I have another item of business to blog about. Well I answered Kaden last Sunday. Ah man, the cake took me forever to make but it was totally worth it. Syvanna helped me with part of it, what would I do without her or Cambri in my life. I think my life would be pretty dull they give it the most "color" then most people do. haha Love ya guys!!! And what would I do without my family too. Thank you Sara for giving me the recipe for the icing that I used on the cake. And my mom and dad for putting up with me and the mess that I created in the kitchen. I love you guys!!!! The cake was a double layered cake so it looks very large, and looked so good. (just have to clear up that I used one cake mix, Kaden thought I had used two cake haha) I should have taken Sara's advice, I should have taken a slice of the cake and then given it to Kaden, but I didn't. Although he told me that it tasted pretty darn good, so that makes me even more think I should have stolen some of it before I gave it to him. Oh well. So here are a few pictures of it.  

For a girl that does not take after her father when it comes to icing things, I think I did fairly good. :) Oh and a few other thank yous. To my friend Dallin Day for helping me and Lynette answer Kaden and Ty. (Ty asked Lynette) Also to Lynette's father for driving us to answer them. What I would do with out those three people, I have no clue.

Winter Waltz

So we have this dance over at the High School, The Winter Waltz. So it's boys choice, and being boys choice the boys don't start asking 'til like 2 weeks before the dance, so all of the sudden this week I start hearing people getting asked haha. Ahhhh, funnest thing to see because the girls start asking like a month before.
So, last night I had a YCL retreat. Oh best thing ever so fun, and funny, I haven't laughed so much or hard in such a long. We had spiritual moments, as well, and they were so good. We, as stake YCL's, got to know each other better, and we sat up for forever talking. I need all of that, I've been so drained these last few weeks with school and other things. Oh well not the end of the world. But anyways I'm sitting there and we are listening to speakers and everyone was done talking I looked at my phone, my mom had texted me. Very unusual, she only texts me unless it was important, I open it and I saw it, it said "Someone asked you to the winter waltz but don't know who." I freaked, I didn't think I'd get asked!!!! I called my mom and asked if she would tell me how he asked me and she told me.

 The front was 10 reasons why you should go to the Winter Waltz with me.... haha when my mom was telling me the reasons on the phone to Syvanna and I. We were laughing so hard, the reasons are so funny and in some ways cute at the same time. haha. 

 I have to say I think number 7 is my favorite. "I will 'water my pillow' otherwise." There's a scripture that went with you 2 Nephi 33:4. Except they were off by a verse, it's really the 3rd verse that say "water my pillow" haha I loved It!!!!!

This was the back of the poster telling me what to do. So all that I have to do is bake the spice cake mix and give it to the guy who asked me which is Kaden Groves, if I'm right, and I'm pretty sure I'm right. He's a friend of mine from my AP US History Class and also my English class. I sat by him for a term in my English Class. Oh my goodness, it was fun, we really got to know each other. He's a fun guy to talk too. 
So my plan is that I will bake the cake and put on his desk in AP US History and leave it there and Syvanna and I are going to walk in late. Ohhhh I'm so excited, I just really hope that it really is him. I think I shall ask Dallin, who's one of his friends, if he was the one that asked me, just to make sure. So I will be doing a follow up on Monday of how things went. :)
