Random little quotes

Well it's Sunday, and I'm a bit board. I've been thinking a lot lately about a lot of thing, and I've noticed something a lot. It's just been recently that this kind of thing has come to my attention. Maybe I just haven't paid attention or maybe I just haven't talked to a lot of people about this thing until recently. Well the thing that I have noticed is that people have been getting down on themselves about things, people are having problems with relationships with others, or everything feels like it's caving down on them. It seems like everyone is just going through something, and they all seem similar to others trials. I'm sure this happens a lot I've just have never really paid that much attention to it. I've also noticed that a lot of these things are things I've experienced, they are simple. SO... I was sitting at the computer watching a few Mormon Messages for fun and one of my friends was texting me, he's been really struggling with a few thing lately. Also one of my other friends was here the other night for awhile and we were talking, and she's also been struggling with a few things lately too, along with a few of my other friends. SO...I decided to help myself through a few small struggles and also a few of my friends and anyone else out there who reads this blog, to do this I have come to the conclusion that I want to put a whole bunch of quotes that I have up on this blog and put my interpretation of a few. I think I shall put a few up (Like 10-20ish) on this post and then every week if you look at my lovely weekly quote, I will have a quote and maybe an interpretation of it.
1.
So I was reading this story the other night that's in a book I have, I've read it before but I love a quote that's in it. It's by President David O. McKay, It was originally a quote from a friend of his but there is a small part that's by him.
"My mother once said that if you meet a girl in whose presence you feel a desire to achieve, who inspires you to do your best, and to make the most of yourself, such a young woman is worthy of your love and is awakening love in your heart."
(This President McKay's part that he added.)
"I submit that as a true guide. In the presence of the girl you truly love you do not feel to grovel; in her presence you do not attempt to take advantage of her; in her presence you feel that you would like to be everything that a 'Master Man' should become, for she will inspire you to that ideal."
I know it's really focused towards guys, but I feel that as a girl, I want to be the girl that makes a guy try to be his best, etc. It also is a guide for myself, I want to find a future husband that makes me want to be my best, etc.
2.
" Do you think for a moment that Heavenly Father would have sent one of His children to this earth by accident, without the possibility of a significant work to perform?...
"My dear friends, you are a royal generation. You were preserved to come to earth in this time for a
special purpose, Not just a few of you, but all of you. There are things for each of you to do that no one
else can do as well as you... If you will let him, I testify that our Father in Heaven will walk with you
through the Journey of life and inspire you to know your special purpose here."
~H. Burke Peterson.
3.
There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.
~Albert Einstein
Look on the good side of life, it's hard, but I find that when I do I am happier.
4.
If you love somebody, set them free.
If they return, they were always yours.
If they don't, they never were.
Honestly it's hard, but it works, and you just have to have faith that what needs to happen will happen. Do God's will, he has a plan it may never go how you think it ought to go, but he knows you very well and he has a plan for each of us individually.
5.
So the other day a very good friend of mine gave me a note and he had put a quote in it that has just kind of stuck with me and I really liked it.
"God does everything he does because he loves us."
I know sometimes we say "Why me, why this trial, God doesn't love me because he gave me this." He loves you that's why he does what he does. He gives us trials to make us stronger, to makes wiser, to shape us to become who we need to become.
6.
"Friends are God's way of taking care of us."
I don't know what I'd do without my friends nor my family when I'm in need of them. I love them they are always there when I have needed them.
7.
As we grow up, we learn
that even the one person that wasn't supposed
to let us down probably will.
You'll have your heart broken,
Probably more than once, and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too,
So remember how it felt when someone broke yours.
You'll fight with your best friend
and maybe even fall in love with them.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
you'll cry because time is passing too fast
and you'll eventually lose someone close to you.
so take too many pictures,
Laugh too much,
An love like you've never been hurt
Because every 60 seconds you spend angry or upset
is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
8.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.
And we are never, ever the same.
9.
You never leave someone behind,
you take a part of them with you,
and leave a part of yourself behind.
10.
Sometimes you have to let go of the one you love
to find out if there is really something there.
11.
 "The sure way to peace
And Happiness in this life and life hereafter
Is to serve the Lord, today
And every day."
~Marion G. Romney
12.
 Always continue the climb.
It is possible for you to do whatever you choose,
if you first get to know who you are and
are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it.
Ella Wheeler Wilcox
13.
No matter what your past has been,
Your future remains spotless.
14.
The mind is like a parachute.
It doesn't work unless it's open.
15.
"He is our triumphant Lord. he is our Redeemer,
Who atoned for our sins. Through His redeeming
Sacrifice all men shall rise from the grace. He has
Opened he way whereby we may gain not
Only immortality bu also eternal life."
~President Gordon B. Hinckley.
16.
When I asked Jesus how much he loved me He said,
"This much," and He held out His arms and died for me.
The rest just kind of take the words out of my mouth and honestly I don't have much to say. All besides that I know God lives and that he is there for me and for everyone else. He will always be there to guide a protect us. He died for us because he loves us. He gives us trials to help us, to make us strength, etc. I love him and my friends and family and I don't know how I would survive with out them. I love you all and thank you for your support and guidance throughout my life. If any of you need any help just call or text me and I'll try my best to help.

Catching up....again

It's been forever since I posted, I've been really busy and I have found more and more that blogging is a lot more work than what I always thought it was.
Well first I got my Winter Waltz pictures. So here you go Cam you can finally see them.
My Two Favorite ones.

This one just makes me laugh because honestly we can never really be mad at each other, well I guess he hasn't been my friend for long enough for me to get mad at him. Haha I'm sure it'll happen one day.
The Whole Group: (Top: Left to right) Kaden, Me, Kim, Dallin, (Bottom) Ty, Lynette, Erin, and Chad
We had a ton of fun. And thanks to Ty's older sister we had great pictures. She added the boarders and all the fancy dancey stuff. :)

Well, there was also Sadies. That was fun. I ended up taking Ty and I still haven't gotten pictures from Kayla. Waiting on that. :)

Another thing I took the ACT, and finally got my Score back, 24! That's good, but I'm taking the June, we'll see how that goes. My brain won't be functioning as well as it was when I took it in March.

I went to New York for Orchestra tour, Next post will be Pictures of that trip and some stories.

My Sister had her baby! Addy Flamm! She is so dang cute.
You can see pictures of her on my sisters blog. "The Flamm Family" one

Spring Break was good, my family and I went to Southern California.

Being Back at school is blah. (Only word I can think of) One: Because it's school Two: Because half the school was gone for half the week last week because of choir tour and I was gone on Monday so I only got to see some of my friends for one day after spring break, that was a bit annoying. Three because it's the end of the school year and end of the school year is just plain stressful, can't wait for all that in college, heard it's worse. <Sigh>

Well I got asked to Prom! Never really would have seen that at the beginning of the year, I was a hermit. But one of my really close friends Scott asked me. I'm excited, I got a purple poofy dress from one of my friends. (She's letting me borrow it) In all reality it's Plum and not purple. Hahaha.

That's about all of the exciting things in my life at the moment. :)
